Two prototype models have been made. One of them has a temperature measuring extension with LM75a integrated circuit. The other has four switches and a dedicated clock chip (DS1307) with battery holder. You can see them with the first version of PCB:
There is a problem with the Usb4All firmware: it can not communicate in I2C bus with 'restart mode'. The I2C protocol can change parameters in some chips (i.e. LM75a) with this mode, so I think I must modify the firmware some time or other.
As you can see, the panel can show actual ambient temperature too. The newest Debian 9 package is here.
